Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about JITpay™ factoring services
Getting Started
What is JITpay™ and how does it work?
JITpay™ is a factoring service specifically designed for the transport industry. We purchase your transport invoices and pay you within 48 hours instead of waiting 30-90 days for your customers to pay. This improves your cash flow and allows you to take on more contracts.
Who can use JITpay™ services?
JITpay™ is designed for carriers, freight forwarders, and transport companies operating in Europe. We serve companies of all sizes, from single-truck operators to large fleets, across 9 European countries.
Which countries do you serve?
We currently serve carriers in Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Slovenia, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Latvia. We're constantly expanding to new markets.
How is factoring different from a loan?
Factoring is not a loan - it's the sale of your invoices. We purchase your invoices at a discount and take responsibility for collecting payment from your customers. This means no debt on your balance sheet and no personal guarantees required.
Registration & Account Setup
How do I register for JITpay™?
Registration is simple and free. Click "Register" on our homepage, provide your basic information (name, email, phone, company), verify your email, and complete the onboarding process with your business documents.
What documents do I need for registration?
You'll need: business registration certificate, tax identification documents, bank account details, valid ID for verification, and potentially some recent transport invoices for creditworthiness assessment.
How long does the approval process take?
Initial registration and document review typically takes 1-2 business days. Your first invoice submission may take longer for verification, but subsequent submissions are processed within 48 hours.
Is there a minimum company size or revenue requirement?
No minimum size requirement. We work with single-truck operators to large fleets. We evaluate each application based on business stability, customer quality, and payment history rather than size alone.
Invoice Submission
What types of invoices can I submit?
We accept transport invoices from verified B2B customers with complete documentation: transport order, invoice, and proof of delivery (POD). The invoices must be clear, undisputed, and from customers in our approved markets.
How do I submit my invoices?
Simply log into your JITpay™ portal and upload your transport order, invoice, and POD. Our system guides you through the process and validates documents automatically. You can also submit via email or mobile app.
What information do I need to provide with each invoice?
For each submission, provide: the original transport order, your invoice to the customer, proof of delivery (POD), customer contact information, and any special terms or conditions related to the transport.
Can I track my invoice status?
Yes! Your JITpay™ dashboard provides real-time tracking of all submitted invoices, showing status from submission through verification to payment. You'll receive notifications at each stage.
What happens if my invoice is rejected?
If an invoice doesn't meet our criteria, we'll explain why and help you resolve any issues. Common reasons include incomplete documentation, disputed amounts, or customer credit concerns. We work with you to address these issues.
Payments
When will I receive payment?
Payment is typically processed within 48 hours after successful document verification and any required customer confirmations. First-time submissions may take longer due to additional verification requirements.
How much will I receive?
You'll receive the full invoice amount minus our factoring fee (typically 2.5-3.5%). The exact amount and fee are confirmed before processing. There are no hidden costs or additional charges.
How do you send payments?
We transfer funds directly to your registered bank account via SEPA transfer. Payments are typically received the same day or next business day depending on your bank's processing times.
What if my customer doesn't pay?
With our factoring service, we assume the credit risk. If your customer fails to pay, it's our loss, not yours. This is one of the key benefits of factoring - protection against bad debt.
Can I get paid in different currencies?
We primarily process payments in EUR, but can handle other major European currencies. Currency conversion fees may apply for non-EUR transactions.
Pricing & Fees
How much does JITpay™ cost?
Our fee ranges from 2.5% to 3.5% per invoice, depending on factors like payment terms, customer credit quality, and your volume. The exact rate is agreed upon before each transaction.
Are there any setup fees or monthly minimums?
No setup fees, no monthly minimums, and no hidden costs. You only pay when you submit an invoice and receive payment. This makes our service accessible to companies of all sizes.
Can I negotiate a better rate?
Yes! Rates can be negotiated based on volume, customer quality, payment terms, and your relationship with us. High-volume customers often receive discounted rates.
When do I pay the factoring fee?
The fee is automatically deducted from the invoice amount when we pay you. You never pay upfront or separately - payment and fee deduction happen simultaneously.
Technical & Security
Is my data secure with JITpay™?
Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption, secure data centers, and comply with all EU data protection regulations (GDPR). Your financial and business data is protected with enterprise-grade security measures.
Do you have a mobile app?
Yes! Our mobile app allows you to submit invoices, track payments, and manage your account on the go. Available for both iOS and Android devices.
Can I integrate JITpay™ with my existing systems?
Yes, we offer API integration for larger customers who want to automate invoice submission and tracking. Contact our technical team to discuss integration options.
What file formats do you accept for documents?
We accept PDF, JPG, PNG, and most common document formats. Files should be clear and readable, with all relevant information visible.
